about

The latest installment from Deepology travels to Argentina to connect with two artists propelling the South American minimal house and techno scene forward from their base in the city of Cordoba. Twodeep’s refined productions defy the short time he has been releasing music, and he comes to Deepology with some of his most developed tracks to date following scores of releases in the past 12 months. “K-Rad” revolves around an alluring, hypnotic groove with a rich tapestry of ambient tones, found sound and instrumentation lingering in between the beats. “68kasm” takes a slightly tougher approach with its hard-edged kicks, but the overall mood is still immersive and meditative. Long time collaborator Trentz joins Twodeep on this release, turning in a remix of “K-Rad” that switches up the original in subtle but effective ways, working some pads and additional drum hits into the mix and stripping everything back when it counts.
